Black Mojo

When I saw the list of notes I was immediately riveted. Cyanide?! Rum and coffee, sugar cane, vetiver… I had to have it of course!
I’m not a great fan of sandalwood but when done right, it magnifies the balance of compatible notes.
In the case of Black Mojo, Colish has scored big.
When it settles on me it falls somewhere between Les Exclusivs de Chanel Coromandel and Sycamore, two of my very favorite masterpieces from Chanel.
Which is not to say that Black Mojo is a flanker, quite the contrary — it’s interstitial bliss breathing magic into the senses.
Rum and sugarcane make it delectable and vetiver grounds it firmly in place amongst some of the finest fragrances I’ve encountered. And encountered I have by the hundreds!
Price point? Buy ten if you love it!
It’s priceless and the more you sniff, the more you want.
Colish clearly uses quality ingredients.
Sillage is not huge, it sits close to the skin and as for longevity, it’s been with me for a good 4 hours and I get subtle whiffs.
If you want to be knocked over by a tidal wave of perfume, look to the oudhs, which I’m ambivalent about, there’s too much out there that’s ghastly, This elegant masterpiece holds its own and dances gently into the night.
It’s time to try Colish Oudhs…
